I'd like to hear them do 'Major Tom'.

They actually covered this song a long long time ago, it was really dope.

I'd like to hear them do 'Space Oddity'.

Sorry, I'm a stickler.

But yeah, I bet they would do awesome renditions of Bowie songs.... :band: :band:

i cant think of the name of it but its from the crash test dummies, i think its just called "mmm mmm mmm" or something. i like the weird al version

This has nothing to do with any of this, but the mention of this song brings back a horrific memory.  Some friends of mine were playing a few songs at a small dance and the guitar player got the notion that at the last moment he could learn this song in about 5 minutes and all of a sudden they could perform it.  So we go out to someone's car and my friend has his guitar and starts to "learn the song".  Problem is he's the most unstudied, most tone deaf guitar player to ever pick up a six string.  By the end he's all like "Sweet, I think that's pretty much it".  He did not have one single solitary note or chord correct.  No one had the heart to tell them.  They go back inside and play the song, kind of.   There's no way in hell you could ever even remotely know what song they were doing.  It wass an utter embarassment.  I'm so glad I was not involved in any of it.  Sometimes I bring it up to other people that were involved in this fiasco and we have a good laugh.

Rusholme Ruffians by the Smiths...everyone should cover that one, but Ozma would kick ass doing it.

I think they would do cool covers of:

"Shady Lane" - Pavement

"Truest Love" - Superdrag (Ozma should do this song acoustic

"The Concept" - Teenage FanClub ( I can hear Ryen and Dan     harmonizing on this song so nicely...)

"Tell Me, Sad" and "Silent Spring" - Bettie Serveert ( I see Star singing lead on these!

I would have loved to have seen them way back when they covered Pinkerton. Correct me if I'm wrong but did they not cover the whole album at some Weezer Fanclub thing back in 96 or something?
